Victoria Lawal debuts the role of Marzelline in Heartbeat Opera's touring production of Beethoven's Fidelio. Lauded by The New York Times as "urgent, powerful, and poignant", this innovative production features a new english dialogue co-written by Directed by Ethan Heard Marcus Scott.
Dubbed “singularly unconventional” by Opera News, “a radical endeavor” by Alex Ross in The New Yorker, and “pioneers” by The Wall Street Journal—Heartbeat Opera is a young company intent upon reimagining opera in intimate spaces for a new generation.

Bizet’s Carmen takes the Glimmerglass Festival's Alice Busch Theatre stage for 10 performances in a new production directed by 2022 Artist in Residence Denyce Graves. Victoria covers the role Micaëla, excerpts of which can be heard in performances of The Passion of Mary Cardwell Dawson.

Victoria reprises the role of Isabelle/Micaëla in an extended revision of The Passion of Mary Cardwell Dawson. The play by Sandra Seaton with music contributed by Carlos Simon celebrates the founder of the historic and groundbreaking National Negro Opera Company and premiered in 2021 at the Glimmerglass Festival. Denyce Graves returns in the title role.

Victoria returns to the Angeles Chorale and as the Soprano Soloist in Mozart's Requiem in D minor K. 626, and the early Missa Brevis K. 220., led my Maestro John Sutton. This all-Mozart program will be presented at St. Paul the Apostle in Los Angeles, CA.
